"Composited wires" was previously an option for the Freestyle method to allow for using the Freestyle Silhouette option also when not all meshes in the view were affected.
Note that saving a preset for an "Existing" material is rather useless at the moment as only the material name is saved and none of its shader data. Therefore, there are now individual presets for the two material settings and the wireframe thickness setting. It seemed odd to save all settings, and to save them in a single file. Removing objects is better done elsewhere in Blender.Ĭonfig files have been replaced by Blender's built-in preset system.
What was previously called "Other included layers" has been removed since it was deemed out of scope for this add-on. What's now called "Mesh Selection" replaces what was previously called "Affected layers", but enables for more general selection than was previously possible. The user interface was redesigned from scratch to (1) accommodate for Blender's move from layers to collections and (2) to be much more intuitive and blend in with the rest of Blender. Therefore this add-on is best used with Blender >=2.82.
Blender bombs drivers#
Note however that Blender 2.80-2.81 have bugs regarding drivers for properties of line styles, breaking the functionality that enables for updating wireframe color/thickness from the user interface when using the Freestyle method. Now compatible with Blender 2.8x, supporting both Cycles and EEVEE. It has been made compatible with BlenderĢ.8x as well as easier to maintain and further develop in the future.
